Shoaf "mjshoaf" (Cary, NC United States) - See all my reviews    I have a 6 year old son. My wife and I desired to teach him "Big Truths" but in a way that was interesting and fun. I began searching for books that would help us to do this. Finally, I found this book, "Big Truths for Little Kids". Perusing it at the store, I felt like it would fit the bill. But once I got it home and began reading it to my son, I knew it was the right choice! He loves hearing the stories in this book. The book uses short stories to teach kids biblical truths in a practical and insightful way for children. All of the stories have the same characters - Caleb, Cassie, Angus, Daniel, etc. After the first few stories, your child will know all the characters and relate to them. This makes the stories even better! My son looks forward to reading these stories with great anticipation. He thinks it's just fun, but all the while he is learning great spiritual truths that will help him grow into a man of honor and integrity.
